Maurice Greene was a dominant sprinter. He won gold in the 100m at the Sydney 2000 Olympics and three consecutive 100m world titles. His 6.39 60m indoor world record still stands. He revolutionized sprinting with his "drive phase" technique and 53 sub-10 second 100m performances. At the 1999 World Championships, Greene became the first sprinter to win gold in the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m relay events. He added Olympic gold, silver, and bronze medals before retiring to TV and coaching.
