Do you incorporate sprinting into training for a 10,000 m race?

Sprinting integrated selectively for 10,000 m race.

My typical training includes some sprinting. I'd say very rarely do I sprint all out, but there are a lot of workouts where I will incorporate some close to all-out efforts, kind of spaced with maybe three or four minutes rest. And I'll do those maybe once every two weeks or so.

In my training for a 10,000m race, I do incorporate some sprinting, although not at a full-out intensity. During my workouts, I include intervals of close to all-out efforts, with about three or four minutes of rest in between. These sprint-like efforts are integrated into my training routine approximately once every two weeks.

Nike Vaporfly Next Percent: The Best Shoes for a 10,000 m Race

Thanks for the question. I think for me the best shoe would be the Nike Vapor fly next percent. It's got a lot of cushion and responsiveness. And it also feels really light weight. I don't think there's a shoe that compares right now for 10,000 meters. That's the shoe out where if I'm racing on the roads and then if I'm on the track, I would wear the Nike dragonfly. That's got some cushions some stiffness. So, you don't beat up your legs too much, and they feel really light as well.

The Nike Vaporfly Next% is the best shoe for 10,000 meters. It has cushion and responsiveness with a lightweight feel. For track running, the Nike Dragonfly is a good option with cushion and stiffness to protect your legs.

The Barrowman track lives and Nike sponsor training group. We focus, primarily on 1,500 meters, 5,000 meters, 10,000 meters. There's athletes from the US and around the world. Some from Canada, Great Britain, Germany and Thailand and we train in Portland, Oregon fly. Sometimes two different altitude locations. Right now. We're in Park City. Utah, training for the u.s. Champs and some of us for the The Great Britain Champs and then eventually to the world Champs in July.

Barrowman Track and Nike sponsor training group based in Portland, Oregon that focuses on 1,500 meters, 5,000 meters, 10,000 meters. Athletes from US, Canada, Great Britain, Germany and Thailand train at different altitude locations. Currently training for US Champs and GB Champs with eventual goal of world Champs in July.

Kieran Tuntivate is a Thai-American professional distance runner. He ran for Harvard University and joined the Bowerman Track Club. At the 2018 Asian Games, he placed 4th in the 10,000m. In 2019, he won the 5000m and 10000m at the Southeast Asian Games. In 2020, he qualified for the Tokyo Olympics with a personal best of 27:17.14 and finished 23rd in the 10,000m with a time of 29.01.92. He is the first Thai (mixed American) to enter the 10,000m.
