The most beautiful part of surfing is the connection it provides with the ocean, nature, and other surfers- it's like a family. For me, the most beautiful part of my sport, which is surfing, has to be the connection. The connection with the ocean, the connection with mother nature, the people that you meet along the way. When you're part of the family of surfing, you're part of the mafia. It's like you're never getting out. And I heard that from Kelly Slater and that always sticks with me. For me, the most beautiful pod of my sports is it provides environment for me to achieve my full potential and to live out the gift that I believe I've been given created to. I believe I've been created surf big waves, and surfing is my passion and it's the canvas or the arena where I feel like I get to push myself to see where the edge of my full potential in my My ability lies, especially when it's stormy and big wild and scary. Those are the environments where I feel closest to God. I feel most alive and that's where I feel. Like I start stepping into my destiny and I experienced this special special moments.
