For me, the most beautiful part of my sport, which is surfing, has to be the connection. The connection with the ocean, the connection with mother nature, the people that you meet along the way. When you're part of the family of surfing, you're part of the mafia. It's like you're never getting out. And I heard that from Kelly Slater and that always sticks with me. Surfing is a family, and I think just being part of that is one of the coolest things in the sport.

Being a part of the surfing community feels like being in a tight-knit group that you never want to leave. Kelly Slater once said that once you're in, you're in for life, and that sentiment resonates with me. Being a part of the surfing family is truly one of the most remarkable aspects of the sport.

At what age did you commit to dedicating your time to a single sport/discipline?

This is gonna sound crazy, but I was committed and dedicated to my single sport when I was 9 years old, since sound crazy, but I saw a movie which was called Endless Summer to and that movie resonated so much with me and, and just being in the water. And, and just seeing all these guys, travel, the world and and surfing and just having the best time of their lives. I was just like this is what I'm going to do for the rest of my life. I don't care what I have to do. There's no plan B was just plan. A, I put all my eggs on and being a surfer because that's that's where my passion was. So yeah, I was pretty committed from a young age and yeah, that was there was no going back from there.

When I was 9 years old, I became committed and dedicated to becoming a surfer after watching the movie Endless Summer. I had no plan B and put all my eggs into this one basket.

For me, social media has definitely been a benefit, it has helped me grow my name, my business and it has helped me reach and meet a lot of people that I would have never meet if it if it hadn't been for social media but it's I see it as a hindrance as well. It's definitely a double-edged sword because I think social media has become a comparison of your life between Other people's lives and I think that's shouldn't be what it's about. It should be about creating your platform and living your life and influencing other people do great things and be themselves.

What's the best surfboard volume for a beginner?

I would say the best surfboard volume for beginner is a lot of volume, a lot of volume you're going to get in the waves, a lot quicker. It's going to be a lot more stable, it's going to be a lot easier and your confidence is just going to grow and that's what we want. When you're starting to Surf, you want to create that confidence. You want to allow yourself to get in a way as a lot earlier. Understand when you have to stand up and just get your flow Gotta ride the flow, feel the flow ride the bull.

Beginner surfers should opt for boards with high volume to maximize stability, confidence and the ability to catch waves quickly.

What are the biggest mistakes? Beginners Surfers? Make I would say, paddling out on a board, that's not thick enough for them. And they end up having just very bad session. Getting very frustrated because they can't catch waves, it can't stand up. And another thing is that they paddle in waves that go surfing waves, that they shouldn't be surfing on, you should start in a wave. That's very mushy, that's very easy to stand. And up on and that you get your confidence role going. And I mean, you start catching waves and you start figuring out the ocean little by little because that's what takes the most time is understanding the ocean.

For me, my breakthrough moment in, my career has to be when I was about around 20, I think 2821, I can't remember. I went with the mindset going to Hawaii that I wanted to make a name for myself. I wanted to show the surfing community that I can charge and I can be with the best of them and I'll never forget this afternoon. I think it was a Thanksgiving after actually, the waves. Which and I ended up paddling out because I saw one of my peers Palin and I was like, if he's pulling out, I'm pounding out and I'm just going to go on biggest one. People got to know who I am, and I remember that afternoon. I got this solid wave, I got super spit out. Everybody was screaming in the beach when I got out of the water, we screaming, and I was just like, wow, that that just really happened. I was like tripping out. And I think that catapulted me to having my own video part in in a bill. Ah, movie called frothing and then from there, non, I signed up pretty solid deal and it made me have this longevity with the brand. And, yeah, I just, I was just really dedicated to proving a point that I was there to say.
