Gregory Adamson

Olympic Sports Performance, Univ. of Tennessee
Associate Director of Olympic Sports Performance Greg Adamson marks 10 years at Tennessee in the 2021-22 academic year. He works closely with the swimming & diving and men's golf programs, helping the Lady Vols swimming and diving team win its first-ever SEC championship in 2020. The men's golf program has seen a resurgence with Adamson, qualifying for NCAA Championships in 2021 and finishing the season ranked No. 22 in the Golfstat team rankings. Adamson has also overseen performance training for the soccer and rowing teams, and worked with Catapult and heart rate tracking for the football program. He has worked with over 1,000 athletes across 23 sports, including Olympians and world-record holders. He holds a bachelor's degree in Health and Exercise Science and a master's in Sport Administration. He previously coached football and baseball at Rock Hill High School in South Carolina.
