What are some of your favorite songs on your marathon playlist?

Music playlists are important for controlling your arousal, mood and motivation. You should try different types of music and playlists for training and racing to get in the right headspace. This can lead to better performance overall.
 
Transcript: "So don't underestimate how important music playlist is, you know, we're trying to do a few things with the playlist. We're trying to control our arousal, based on the speed of some of the music and how it makes us feel, okay? Your mood is huge to your motivation. So the effect of the music on how you feel music. You love is going to put you in a better place, okay? It's going to get your mind and body ready to Compete. Okay, and so you need to play around with some of that music, you know the fast tempo stuff. Some people do a little better with more relaxing music before they race up there to aroused. So that intensity is huge and definitely music contributes to your mood, you arousal, level and and how you feel. Okay. And mood affects your motivation. So put songs you love listen to music. That you want. Okay, get in your own Zone, listen to your headphones. A lot of people already doing this and that can really help you and put some play around with different types of music and different playlist that you work out with before training. It does look like we want to be a little more intense and listen probably two more intense music for training and probably tone it down a little bit for racing because we're already revved up our nervous. Systems is already firing. So lot of ways to do that, you know, pick the music play around with it and keep tweaking it. And I think it really helped you do some of the smaller things that can lead to much, much better performances moving forward."
