And also the person doing the surgery, this should generally be a boarded surgeon doing this type of surgery. It's not a simple, straightforward surgery. So this is something that most of the time is gonna be referred to a specialist to be done to have the ideal, most optimal outcomes.

Now, when we're talking about how long the tick needs to be on to transfer these diseases, that depends on what diseases they carry. The fastest disease transmission is a tick transmitting Rocky Mountain spotted fever, and that takes less than 24 hours. So that's the quickest something would be transmitted. Usually we're talking a few days.
