Have you had any formal education in Art of Photography? I'm a photographer and I have had zero formal education in photography outside of doing YouTube. Following photographers that I like their style and hoping that maybe they have some behind-the-scenes footage for me to follow. Look at dissect and break down. A lot of photographers are really good at, talking about shutter speed, diffusion angle of light. How they come up with Concepts working with clients or doing stuff, purely for your own creative portfolio? That helps build up what you see in what's in your mind to get out. So I would suggest learning the technical stuff is clearly very important, but I would say our University now is online. YouTube's, where I learned my stuff, most hope that helps

Have you ever risked the safety of your photo gear in order to get an image absolutely shooting with high quality gear is good because it can actually take a beating and keep on going. But it doesn't always survive the test. I've had my camera hanging out the side of a boat for fishing, a advertising editorial. And big wave, came up sideways and splashed my Canon 5D Mark for and ruined it because it was salt water. I have had lens of mine pitted with welding sparks because I was trying to get a specific angle on the welder to have the thing. The Sparks raining down on me and that cost me a thousand dollars to replace my lens and the elements on that. But good gear is super important and if it's good hopefully it'll take a beating and keep on going. I'm a cannon guy and it's never really let me down unless you soak it notion of course, hope that helps

Absolutely, I have risked the safety of my photo gear in order to capture an image. While shooting with high-quality gear is advantageous as it can withstand some rough conditions, it doesn't always come out unscathed. For instance, I had my camera hanging out of a boat while fishing for an advertising editorial, and a big wave unexpectedly splashed it with saltwater, ruining my Canon 5D Mark IV.

Invoking Emotion: The Power of Photography

What do you hope viewers? Take away from your photography. Great question. Great question. And I'm sure a lot of different photographers have different answers for me. I want to try to invoke emotion in the viewer. I want you to see that image and pull something from it. trying to shoot and trying to like things that don't look like we see them in our everyday lives, is something that I try to execute trying to give people and Anything that you shoot something to just looks bigger than life and you know, we view view that and instill something in you or motivates you or it makes you feel sad, whatever that may be. I use a photography to get out emotional things that are in me and I find when I execute that and get that out of my mind's eye, it is emotionally fulfilling for me. So I hope that people when they look at my images, can feel that same sort of emotion. So invoking. Emotion in the viewer is what ideally want people to take away from my photography. Thank you.

What do I hope viewers take away from my photography? A great question indeed. Every photographer may have a different answer, but for me, it's about invoking emotion in the viewer. I want my images to make you feel something, to see the world in a way that is different from our everyday lives. I strive to capture moments that appear larger than life, hoping to inspire, motivate, or even evoke sadness. Photography allows me to express and release the emotions within me, and when I successfully convey that through my work, it is emotionally fulfilling. Changing Lives: Unbelievable Project Brings Homes to the Poor

Can you share our memorable project? You have worked on and what made it special to you? Oh, straight to the point World. Housing is organization modeled after Tom's Shoes. Actually, the person who started it, the founder, Peter deplete was on a flight back from LA and was sitting next to Blake mycoskie, the founder of Tom's Shoes. Peter is a super high-end real estate developer and by the end of the flight, they realized that this model of the 141 gifting model could be Even to people with very poor living conditions, for example, people who live in the slums of the Philippines and Cambodia that literally live off a dollar a day, picking through the landfill dumps. So they market and sell their projects that when you buy one of their condos or by one of their pieces of real estate that you give somebody a home in the third world. So I've been flown over to the Philippines and Cambodia on All Occasions to document the gifting ceremonies to document. The horrific living conditions that these people live in and to see how these Helms. As modest as they are are literally changing lives for people over there and it's it's an unbelievable experience to be involved in that I'll put a link to the world housing project here. Thank you.

The work has been an unbelievable experience to be involved in and I have had the opportunity to document the gifting ceremonies and see how it changes people's lives.

One memorable project I worked on was with an organization called World Housing. It was inspired by the model of Tom's Shoes. The founder, Peter Dupuis, had a chance encounter with Blake Mycoskie, the founder of Tom's Shoes, on a flight. They realized that the 1-for-1 gifting model could be applied to provide homes for people living in extreme poverty, such as those in the slums of the Philippines and Cambodia.

I had the opportunity to be flown over to the Philippines and Cambodia on multiple occasions to document the gifting ceremonies and capture the living conditions of these individuals. It was eye-opening to witness the dire circumstances they faced and to see how these modest homes were truly changing lives. The concept of buying a condo or real estate and simultaneously giving someone a home in the third world was incredibly impactful.

Being involved in this project was an unbelievable experience. It allowed me to witness firsthand the positive impact that housing can have on people's lives and to be part of a meaningful initiative. If you're interested, I can provide a link to the World Housing project for more information.

How do you approach shooting in a commercial setting versus a more personal project?

Commercial vs Personal: Shooting with Purpose and Creativity

How do you approach shooting? Commercials settings verse personal projects. Most commercial settings are a bit more of a group of people are director, whether you shooting for a brand. So you're going to have people. There representing the brand, the company you're going to have hair makeup food on set assistance. Lighting assistance, people organizing making sure no one's coming through the shot of it's in a public area. It's definitely more. How do I put it? You're there for a purpose. You're there to get a result. You're there to be a professional and there's shot lists and you gotta follow those jealous and you got to knock them off and you got to do what you're hired to do and that's to show up and execute your style of Photography. And that's why I usually the art director has approached you and is hiring you and is depending on you to get out their Vision or a personal project is is not as much planning usually trying to get out an idea that's in your head that's been there for a while so you can Usually add it to your portfolio or get out something. The creative juices that are just stuck in there that you, you know, need to get out. And I find sometimes doing those personal projects are a great way to relax and dump the stuff off your brain.
