So dietitians will typically undertake a four- or five-year program of study compared to a three-year nutrition course. Now, within that dietitian course is medical nutrition therapy. I'd be very happy to show you the inside of my fridge. So I have made a little video for you. Now, I will say that I had just finished my grocery shopping and had loaded everything back into the fridge and then made the video. So, I think it's a perfect time of the week to be able to see what's in my fridge. When it's full, I hope you enjoy. Welcome to the fridge. I've got fresh milk, I've got amazing. Variety of fruit and vegetables that I need for recipes during the week as well as snacks. I've got cherry tomatoes, I picked from the garden baby cucumbers, there for snacking on lean turkey, lean chicken breast, beautiful berries for smoothies adding to breakfast cereal on top of yogurt, I've got different types of cheeses for protein and snacks. I've got hummus and avocados. Well, that was the tour of my fridge. I hope you found it. Interesting, what you will notice in my fridge is overall, a lot of healthy foods, a lot of snack options throughout the week. Whether that be eggs or cheese, yogurt, fresh fruit and vegetables to munch on what you won't see in my fridge is really a lot of processed foods essentially. So I hope that you found it interesting. Hi Ali, thanks so much for the question. What are the nutritional differences between broccoli and cauliflower? Well when I look at the nutrient profile I can tell you that broccoli is higher in vitamin C and vitamin K compared to cauliflower. But overall there's not too many differences. They are from the same family, the cruciferous family. So that does really tell us that their nutrient profile is going to be quite similar. They both are low in energy or calories high in fiber high in hence broccoli and cauliflower are fantastic for heart. Health are fantastic for helping prevent certain types of cancers. These are great foods to be having in your diet. The only other difference I can think of, as a clinical dietitian. When I compare broccoli and cauliflower is that they do have a slightly different FODMAP profile. Now, fodmaps are easily. Fermented short-chain carbohydrates that can cause some gut symptoms. People with something called irritable bowel syndrome. So for patients, that have that I might go into a little bit of an in-depth discussion with them about what type of fodmaps are higher in broccoli and hiring cauliflower. So they can make those choices about which ones to modify if it does improve their symptoms. That said overall there are very little differences I think nutritional differences between broccoli and cauliflower. There's probably more similarities than differences enjoy both as part of a healthy. Diet, I've certainly got both in my fridge at the moment. Hope that helps bye.

When I'm thinking about this, I'm going to look at the nutritional analysis or then the nutritional panel as well as the ingredients list. So, from a nutritional analysis perspective, there's very little difference between the two and nothing that I would say is actually significant at all. I can tell you that Diet Coke does have slightly higher caffeine. But we are talking such small amounts that this really isn't of significance, in my opinion, from an ingredients list perspective. There is a difference there just very slight in terms of the sweeteners used but overall yeah very little difference in my opinion between the two. Thank you. Hope that answers the question.

If I only had five ingredients for a healthy smoothie, what would they be? Well, I love this question and I'm going to share with you a recipe that I do make often at home. The first ingredient is milk. It's a great source of protein and a great source of calcium. The second ingredient is oats. I always put oats in my smoothie. There are great source of fiber particularly soluble fiber. They're a source of protein and it's a low GI carbohydrate. So it's going to give me A sustained release of energy, the third ingredient is fruit. So for this recipe, I'm going to put in some banana but it's going to be frozen banana. Now, that's going to make this recipe nice and creamy and cold, which I absolutely love the third. The fourth ingredient is actually chia seeds. Now, I know the other nutritional experts have mentioned this one as well, but that is because chia seeds. I just simply amazing, great, source of antioxidants and a great source of Omega-3s. So I always throw some chia seeds. In the fourth, ingredient is going to be nuts. Blending in some nuts, for a great healthy source of fats is an awesome ingredient for a smoothie. Now, in Australia, if I didn't have any nuts in the cupboard, I actually throw in a product called super spread which works fantastic in smoothies. It's a blend of four different nuts as well as some chia seeds in there. It's got no added salt, no added sugar and it works great in smoothies. So there you have it. They are my five ingredients. Ditch the Bad Food Label: A New Perspective on Nutrition

Hey Josh. So your question was, what's the nutritional rule that you live by? Well, firstly, I'm going to say I actually don't like the term rule when it comes to diet and nutrition. It's just not something that I feel very comfortable with. But what I will say is I'm actually passionate about not labeling Foods as bad. I think there's lots of foods out there. They get labeled as bad and put in this category that they're that they're bad for us that we can never have them and it conjures up. All these negative feelings and I think food is food Foods on inherently bad. There's simply Lee choices that have to be made. And when we're comparing food side by side, there are some choices there going to be more nutrient dense and there's some foods out there. They're going to be less nutritious by the way of, they have less of the nutrients that were looking for in our diet, but they can absolutely be included in there. I think every diet can have every single food in it that you want it to. I think it just comes down to portion sizes, it comes down to your individual goals, it comes down to frequency. The nutritional rule I live by is not labeling foods as bad. I believe that food is just food and it's not inherently bad. It's about making choices and comparing foods based on their nutrient density. Some foods may be more nutrient-dense, while others may be less so. However, all foods can be included in a diet based on portion sizes, individual goals, and frequency. So, if I were to have a nutritional rule, it would be that there's no such thing as a bad food.
