Transcript: "Have you managed to relieve or manage stress so far in life? Well, personally, I have been able to manage and relieve stress through a few different practices. I have one is breathing deep breathing. Some people do this in a meditation, some people simply breathe deeply through their diaphragm or belly breathing. Another one for me is physical touch. I love holding and petting. My dogs in fact, I got my little one right here, Bruno. So he's a big stress relief, aren't you little buddy? Another thing I do is work out consistently. That's a huge stress relief, and write down a list of things I need to do. And prioritize, which ones I want to do first or which ones are most important to me. I've talked about in the some other answers of how to do that. But looking at the things that I need to do and breaking them down so they're they're doable. But really, it's a great way is through a personal relationships knowing that I have people that I support and who support me is huge stress relief, because that means I don't have to take on everything myself."

One of the best ways I've learned to manage stress in my life is through mindfulness meditation and the reason that it's been so impactful for me is because it helped me become aware of the Tendencies of my mind and the thought patterns that it tends to produce in certain situations and in certain contexts and once that became something that I was aware of and kind of predictable, it was easy for me to separate from my own thoughts. Recognize them just as thought but I didn't have to buy into if it wasn't helpful and really regain my focus or redirect my focus to the present moment situation. It helped me be more present and I think when you're more present, you're able to tolerate stress. A lot of times when I'm noticing that I'm more stressed, it's because I'm spending more time, sort of Lost in thoughts, stuck in my head. So mindfulness has been a great reminder for me at times when I get lost in my head to detangle or detach from my thoughts and really reconnect to the present moment.
