And my personal favorite way to approach a landowner is to do it in person. Uh, making a phone call the day before hunting season and getting all these blind phone calls from people you don't know isn't a great way. I'm a landowner. So I know what it's like to have these cold calls and random people calling you and want permission to go hunting on your land. I tell people find out who owns the land, find out where the gentleman or, or lady lives, drive up to their house, knock on their door, introduce yourself and in person, I've had the best results of getting permission for hunting. Now, having said that I've had to go to landowners for five years in a row and been told no. And I thank them and I come back the next year and I asked them the same question and one time it took me five years to get permission on a piece of land and I had no problem with that. I just kept coming back. They had other people hunting family members. I just kept coming back. I was very courteous. Um And eventually I got the permission to hunt on the land. So from year to year based on what's happening in your area, either man made or natural weather patterns, um, these are things we have to adapt to and so do the animals. And that's been more of a question I think than the climate change.

Because if you were to go to medical school and then go into Special Forces training, they're still going to want you to learn how to do things the way that they want them done and use the techniques and equipment that they have. While you're in medical school for the Special Operations Forces, you can always put in to go green to gold for the Army or some other officer route if you're in the Reserves, and they will pay for your school. So if you go to medical school like Harvard, they will pay some portion of that. Otherwise, going in as a medic, the skills that they're going to teach you are going to be completely different from what you're going to learn if you just went straight from Harvard Medical School into Special Operations. He could have family hunting. He could already have other people that have permission. It's a part of the game and I answered it in another question. Well, in Alberta, Canada, we have counties and if you go to the town nearest where you're trying to hunt and go to the county office, you can buy a map for $20 or $25 and it has all the landowners written on the map from there. You can take the name and you can look up in the phone book or Google, search the person's name and hopefully you can find their phone number. That's one way another way is to take the same map, find the landowner on that map. You will see a red dot on a piece of land that is owned by someone and that red dot indicates a home very often the landowner lives on their own land. So you can drive up, knock on the door and ask them for permission or if they know where the landowner of this piece of land lives. And then that's usually how I track down the landowner and look for permission. On the land that I'm looking to hunt on.
