Growing up, I admired hockey players and coaches like Chico Rash and Patrick Watson. Years later, I worked with Joe Sakic and Patrick Roy, who were both my childhood heroes. This has taught me to be careful of who I admire as athletes and coaches, because you don't always get the full picture from just watching them on screen. Transcript: "When I was growing up, what and who did I admire as athletes and coaches? In particular, this is a funny question for me because it went full circle and I'll tell you real quick. So I grew up in Denver, Colorado. I was a huge hockey fan. We didn't have a hockey team and back. Then the Colorado Rockies and late 70s, moved to New Jersey, became the New Jersey, New Jersey Devils. However, I became a a huge goalie fan with Chico rash was a goalie then and became a goalie for their beer, New Jersey Devils, my necks goalie. Patrick, wha love, Patrick Watson, won the cup in 87 and 93, 96. And I remember paper viewing these games and I was just and love with Patrick Walker. Everything you did confidence, Mala fast forward, Be careful, be careful of who you are lies, because idolized people on screen, not real. You don't see the whole picture. Anyways, down the road, I became a member of the Colorado, love it. Avalanche and I work with Joe sakic and Patrick. Well, are you kidding me? The two people I had allies, my two Heroes where that give me. Nowhere. So be careful who you are lies, it just on picture, just on screen pick."
Jed Zibanejad of the New York Rangers is currently one of the best power play players in the NHL. He is racking up points and creating chaos from the weak side, while his teammates are setting him up to score goals. The Rangers' power play has been a major factor in their success this season. Transcript: "Who is the best player on the power play in the NHL today? Well, this can go on for hours and hours and hours. I love the we have that time. However, let's do this, the best power play player I've seen in the past was OB, and now, just reaching 800 goals. That is a little feather in his cap, right? He's got it, he's done, it is probably one of the best. Best. If not the best power play player were ever that we're ever going to see right now very similar. Very similar position to Ovechkin, is sipping, a Jed zibanejad on the New York Rangers weak side is hammering one-timers, and creating chaos from that weak side as of right now, I would say he's a very dangerous player. There's tons of dangers players than any tell right now, but he's racking up the points. Racking up the power play. Points, he's doing a phenomenal job. But however, these scoring the goals, someone's got to pass it to him. And that's the bread, man. On the other side, doing a great job. Passing the pocket, filled it in New York Rangers. Power Play is very, very dangerous, do not touch it. If you're opposing player, opposing team York Rangers power plate, taking them far through the playoffs. This appendage out as being one. Big reason, a heavy."
Sidney Crosby has a very unique stick with a straight blade, it is almost unbelievable the things he can do with it. Transcript: "What is the weirdest stick looking? Stick that I've ever seen and this is odd for me the weirdest stick I've ever seen Sidney Crosby. So I looked at this thing and I was like how and the heck do you shoot with this thing? And the score as many goals as he does is unique. It's very you very unique, like kids today's want to have a big curve to get the puck up. Kitt Loft, whatever, but Sidney, Crosby does, all these amazing things, amazing shots forehand backhand passes forehand backhand, and if you look at it, the blade is, a straight, straight straight, straight straight blade, unbelievable? And almost a little, at the end, a little tip at the end, who knows what that is but you ever have a chance to look at Sidney Crosby. Stick it is amazing and the stuff that he is able to do. Do with that blade. Mmm. He's a special kid that. Yeah, take a look and you'd be like he does that with that. Special. Yeah, this thing I don't think I can flip any cock with this thing. Plus, it's manufactured at the end to look like a Who"
Ryan O'Reilly is the best hockey player I've coached. He is an amazing playmaker and his positioning and stick handling are second to none. He also leads by example, which is why he is so well respected. He is a very underrated player and any team would love to have him on their roster. Transcript: "Who is the best hockey player? I've coached, and why, well, in this situation, when you doing with the best, there's not a lot of coach involved. However, the best player I watched, or coach Ryan O'Reilly by far, my favorite, nothing fancy nothing, you know, over the top. But when you watch him play, my goodness. Is he a good argue player? Stick on sticky. Kick. Good positioning probably leads the NHL and less hits than then Dalai Lama. Like it's unbelievable. It doesn't use his body but he used his body as a position to take the puck away from other people. It's just a phenomenal player and how we lead this team, the team follows him, he's a great player on a very underrated player and I'm so happy you want to cop. It has it with his name on it because it would be a shame for him to go his whole career. Without his name on that. Cop is a great player. Any team would love to have them interesting to see where he's going to go next. Hopefully, it's still with st. Louis, if not go to a contending team where you can really make a difference is a fun fun player to watch, take 30 seconds, take 45 seconds, watch shift. Great player. One of the best."
