The question is, what role do health care professionals play in addressing the negative perception of mommy brain and supporting new mothers? So making sure that they are listened to, making sure that the provider is asking the right questions, making sure that the provider is encouraging moms and parents to have a small circle of supporters, whether that looks like parents, spouses, church community, friends, distant family members, and then a larger provider of support. So a larger circle of support filled with providers that can help with the physical, emotional, mental challenges that come along with the postpartum period, especially the new postpartum period as well. So first and foremost making sure that the providers are listening to them and giving them resources and helping them navigate this new season of life. Providers there to support and encourage and making sure that they have the right members on the team or at least that the parents have the know the right direction to look for the correct provider specifically for them. So providers have a huge role to play in the support piece as well.
