Hey, Peter, Well, in terms of free things your training. I think you can stay consistent every day. Don't do one massive workout. And then a couple of days off just try and stay consistently doing something every single day. I think you'll find that to be enormous for your improvement. Curve. The other one. I would say more on the mental. Emotional side is visualizing, really spend some time. Seeing yourself do the activity over. Over again and see yourself doing it really well. Spend some time really visualizing. I think you'll find that. That's really empowering. They both free obviously eating. Well, not necessarily free. But if you have a choice, do the best you can to, to eat, well, sleep obviously, prioritize that get the best sleep, you can and drink a lot of water stay hydrated. So they're all things that you can do that are somewhat free obviously eating well is Not free, but if you have a choice, I would really focus on that then things that you might want to buy. I would say, like things aerodynamically. I wouldn't stress about the bike frame too much. I choose a helmet and we'll choice is probably more into in terms of aerodynamics, decent running shoes, but make sure they fit well. And that goes for the bike to actually make sure the bike really fits. Well, so probably worth spending bit of money to get the right bike fit and and you might want to Do that sort of every six months and then running shoes, maybe Orthotics or at least looking at you by biomechanics to make sure you get the right pair of running shoes. So you can stay consistent, things like a reasonable wetsuit, for wetsuit swims, it's expensive. But if you can find one, that's not too expensive, maybe talk to the professionals out there that seem to get given loads of wetsuits and see if they'll sell you any cheap. And I don't have any anymore. That's about it. Mate. I'm just off the top of my head. There's some of the things you can do to find some speed. Cheers, mate.

Hey, Peter. Yes, indeed, there are many, many things you can spend a lot of money on. But the biggest thing I think that you can do is find some kind of coach, even an online training plan, to give you some kind of guidance. That's very important that you don't just jump on every trend. In terms of actual performance benefits, I think the biggest thing you can do is a fit. So a bike fit if you're looking-- not even if you're looking for a new bike, just to make sure you're comfortable and sitting as efficiently as possible. It's something that's underrated but very, very valuable. The same thing goes for your running shoes. Make sure that you're wearing the running shoes that suit you. Perhaps you might need orthotics to avoid injury. All those kind of things will get you much, much, much more bang for your buck. And then in terms of a bicycle upgrade, you know what, the biggest upgrade you can make in terms of aerodynamics is an aerodynamic helmet. Thereafter, you can look at a million and one toys, but there are definitely some small tweaks where you can find some lower budget, definite gains.

Traveling is an expensive sport. But I'd say, the biggest bang for your buck is always consistency is whatever equipment you have no matter what is getting out there and being able to put in consistent work, and not necessarily these huge, big training days or training blocks, but consistency is the most important thing. And as far as everything else, just, I mean, you don't have to have a super bike to go fast. I would say, make sure your bike is clean, get it greased. Live dad. Go to your local bike shop. Make sure everything is running smoothly because that's quite a lot of Watts. If stuff isn't running well overall, and then I would say, don't underestimate rest, let that body your body, absorb all that work that you've done. And I think those things are kind of the most important instead of buying your way into being faster. And, you know, the not be always necessarily low cost, but it's Worth your money is a bike fit. I'd go in and get yourself fit on the bike because that's not only aerodynamics, but also comfort. And that's if you're more comfortable on the bike, you're going to feel better going off for the run. So there's a few things and I think that also applies to a swimming swim lessons running getting a run form. Analyzed that sort of stuff. I think is very valuable because if you're working against yourself, especially in the pool or aerodynamically on the bike, then, Then that you could you have to work that much harder to kind of overcome that sort of stuff. So I would say, think efficiency overall and kind of focus on some of that stuff.

Yes, traffic is a very expensive sport. I mean, some races cost up to I think twelve hundred dollars to enter the Iron Man will change that IRONMAN World Championships that blows my mind. So the best thing to do is probably have a look at getting a free training Peaks account and then being consistent with your training. It's definitely worth by maybe I watched like this. Mine's a while, who won polar one, you will obviously, have to spend something, or even maybe a whoop. Just to record how your you're feeling because I think you're if you're new to the sport as well that you know, that that how you balance your week is really important. You could also look to join a local Club often joining a local Club is cheaper than having an online coach, and most clubs are really friendly. So you can get loads of advice from club members and a club coach. But yeah, I think, if you are going to spend money, make sure it's money on the right things. If you're buying a bike, make sure you've got a Fit before, it might seem expensive but it's well worth it. You wouldn't just say I like those shoes and buy them, you try them. And it's the same with a bite. You need that best fit in same with a wetsuit and lots of places. I know in the UK. Anyway, you can try wet suit on sometimes, you can even swim in it. It's a demo on so you can try before you buy. So it's just just seeing how you want to allocate your budget on various things, but you will need some equipment. I definitely invest in some nutrition, you know, whether it's just spending a bit more. A more healthy balanced meal or obviously, maybe some Energy Products, whether its energy gel to train on energy, drink protein powder, but you can do things that maybe you don't think we'll have an impact on your Triathlon training and racing, but they will have a massive one. But they also have a great impact on the quality of life. Generally. Make sure you got solid pillow. You got a nice bed mattress duvets. You're not too hot. You're not too cold things like that. I mean, the best form of recovery is sleep and if you're not sleeping, well, so that's an investment in. In the quality of life, not just the quality of training but it is an expensive sport. See, I think the best thing I can advise is really do your research, whether you're in slow trip, slow-twitch website, Forum can be a bit a bit. Well, you can get some good information on there, but there's also lots of people like, to spout their own opinion. And also, you can also try 24/7. There's so many resources out there. Gtn have great videos about product reviews, DC Rainmaker, he is a man, Amazing in-depth product reviews if you're looking to purchase something because well, so good luck with that. High impact low cost tips to improve in Triathlon. It is definitely an expensive sport, but I would say I'm obviously biased, I would say get a bike fit the bike, hit by someone that understands that you have to run you get off the bike. And number two, have a plane. Get a coach coaches, are worth what they charge and you need to make sure that the time you invest in sport isn't wasted that the workout you're doing or the workout you Actually need to do.

Hi Peter, my tips for getting maximum bang for your buck would be sleep. Well, sleep as much as possible, eat well and work on core strength and stability. I think you know moving? Well moving functionally very well has a performance benefit in terms of efficiency, but also an injury prevention benefit when we move. Well, we're less likely to get injured particularly in any activity. That's repetitive motion and working on core strength. And stability can be done at home and the comfort of our own house. You don't need a lot of equipment to have an effective core strength and stability routine. Good luck.
