When I'm running and training thinking a lot about the competition, I'm going to face with and I do a lot of visualization at that time to see how am I going to do a mile 16 of the New York City marathon or the Boston Marathon. So I start visualizing placing yourself in the moment. They know how many people will be there and how are you going to do compared to those and then also analyze what their strengths and weaknesses. If it's a hill, you think about conquering that hill in training? So when it comes on race day, it would be a second. Nature and competition. There you just try to calm as much as you can and be prepared. Obviously, it's mental game. So you think about sometimes he breathe harder, just to kind of fall other people that, hey, he's tire, and they will make a move. And then a minute later, or two minutes later, you make the move because they already shaded the move. So there's a lot of things that wanders your mind, but at the same time, you think about this competitions, what their strengths is what their weaknesses and I able to allocate them, or you have to be able to make that. That move way early. And obviously I also think about the audience and the the crowd and I've got a lot of feedback from them and you look at your Shadow to see you know if that person is next to you or how they're coming along. So it is fun to be interactive and have fun during competition and but more importantly training is the key to success. If you can do those important thinking then it becomes comfortable on race day so visualize have fun at the same time. I'm be cognitive of what's going around yourself.

What I'm thinking about when I'm running it really depends on what kind of run. We are talking about if I'm running in a race, I'm trying to really concentrate on all the important variables. That means my heart rate base perceived exertion, when to drink, when to eat, what to drink, what to eat, where my main competitors are. If I'm able to keep up with them from the beginning, or maybe in a situation in a long. He's let them go in the beginning to choose my Pace a little bit more conservative and then build it. Build it up through the race itself. So there are all those things are very important to produce the best possible result on race day. And that's what takes most of my thoughts. Of course, if the race is something like an ultramarathon, I can also have a plenty of time to think about my family to enjoy spectators. The scenery to talk to volunteers, that takes my mind off the important stuff time to time. But it's also important to really come back soon enough. Not to make any bad mistakes in the race if you have talking training when I'm once again, trying to concentrate on what the main goal of the training, I usually never go for running just to run. I either go for a long, easy run. And when I'm trying to really stay, Hello with intensity and just enjoy the sceneries. Or I'm going for some Pace run some intervals when I'm concentrating on how hard and fast should I do those intervals and how relaxed I can get between the intervals either walking or, or just resting? So mostly mostly I'm trying to concentrate more on what I'm doing and sometimes if I'm lucky I can get into that famous running High.

What do you think about while running? I actually love this question because I see a lot of Runners nowadays with headphones in, listening to music, listening to podcasts and that's fine. And I'm not knocking it. It's you can do whatever you want to do, but I, when I was running a lot of miles back in the day, I love just letting letting my mind go and whatever came into my mind. I thought about that's such a freeing. Exercise and I kind of miss it. So I would really suggest you do that. Go out and run and just let your thoughts go. What came into my mind back in the day. I mean, look of course, sometimes I thought about running and I daydreamed about race is coming up or workouts coming up but I also just thought about life thought about a girlfriend or thought about school way back in the day. I don't think about school that much but who knows what might come in your mind. Think about entrepreneurial. Teachers business ventures that you might be involved in sometimes, Deep Thoughts come into your head, think about your family, and different things that might be going on. Good or bad, right? I would just say anything and everything can come into your mind while running if if you go for a run without headphones and just let yourself go. So I would say anything and everything came into my mind.

Good question. What do I think about when I'm running? It depends on what I'm doing. If I'm doing a nice easy distance run, I could think about just maintaining my form and I could look around a little bit. If I am running a paste distance run, I will be trying to hit my splits if I'm on the track running and and it's just a repeat quarters, a week p200, I would think about hitting the time that I was given. I could work on my form I could work. Posture, I can sometimes visualize paws up my race, while I'm running, I do not think that I over thought their work out but I do want to make sure that I am implementing and making sure that I'm executing whatever we're working on and that session. So my Thorns tend to be leaning toward those things that the coach has told me to do.

Um, what do I think about running? I, I grew into the habit of now being very mindful of my body while I'm running. And I'm talking about for mechanics arm, swing need drive, all of that before. I would just go out there and just run, run, like you, you getting chased by a pitbull. The police is after you. But now being a sprinter and I would consider myself a professional Sprinter, I'm more mindful of what my body is doing. Doing in space and time.
