Is there a minimum age for someone to go pro as a climber? Well, what's your definition of pro? Does pro mean that you compete with others? Sure, then there's probably an 18 and up if you want to go ahead and have adult. Most companies won't sponsor an athlete that is extremely young. They're hesitant to do that. Ultimately, if you're talking about being pro as in being paid for what you do, as in a professional, you can be paid for doing whatever you do at whatever age. I mean, little babies are paid to be models, and they don't even know what's happening. So I don't think there's actually an age limit. There's just however you define professional. If getting free stuff makes you a pro, then that happens at any time. If getting money and actually a salary that you could live on means going pro, that doesn't happen very often.
