How do I handle blisters? Take a needle and thread sterilize it with alcohol, run that needle and thread all the way through the blister. So you've got thread still hanging out. Both sides of the blister. Push the remaining fluid out, take a piece of tape, stick it right in the middle of the blister. This will keep that thread in there. So the blister can't refill. It, allow the skin to heal up against the skin and once it does, the thread just automatically comes out It's it.

Blisters on your feet are definitely unique. You can't just say, oh, I've got a blister and treat every blister the same way. Some, you can just put a little, like, Vaseline or skin Lube or something like that on it and you'll be just fine others. You might need to be a little, you know, use a Band-Aid or some second skin, or, you know, if it's a large blistered, you might need a doughnut pad where you cut a pad with a The middle hollowed out. So it sits around the blister but the best way to deal with blisters is to prevent them from happening. So, you know, obviously in a race that's not always possible, but I do make sure that I'm using good socks, clean socks, and properly fitting shoes, as much as possible during all training sessions, anyways, and then I also avoid doing things that are going to like soften the calluses in my feet and like obviously, I have to swim As part of my my training, but I've tried not to like soak my feet in like a bathtub or something like that, things that will kind of get rid of the calluses that are preventing those blisters from forming to begin with. So, you know, prevention is always the best best medicine there. But yeah, I mean, if you have a blister already, then small blisters a bit of skin. Loo medium, maybe Band-Aid or something of the sort and Then bigger blister, you know, use it donut pad and attach it with non adhesive tape statistics such as like koban or something like that.

How do I handle blisters on my feet? You know, it's funny because I literally this past season, got my first blister and that, that was a crazy experience, because it was on my pinky toe and that my butt hurt Boyce. What? I got that thing hurts but I just I just kept running. Probably not. This the smartest idea, I'm pretty sure there's ways. No actually, I took an episode bath, I put my soak my feet, in Epsom salt, and then I started to use, like athletic, take the wrap it up when I would go to practice and what not. But other than that, like, I just let it self heal.

This one comes courtesy of Liz blatchford Triathlon. Legend its poor poor cream that you can get. You can get it widely now and boots. But yeah, from Australia originally just amazing on Raw flesh. So can use it for anything for chafing blisters lips, saddle, sores. Anything I over prescribed it to athletes in a very unprofessional sense and I've had really good feedback from them, using it to. So not too expensive and not too technical or anything like that. Just to really good moisturizing agent.

So, I used to be one of those people that blistered pretty badly. Yeah, I used to really struggle with them, and I run a lot without socks, just to try and my, my coach is pretty hard in Old School back then, so to try and toughen up the skin and and Harden it and yeah, to be fair. Now, it really works. I don't get blisters anymore. I think it was pretty painful when you were just running through them and yeah, but now I think my Feet are pretty tough but I think in general just you can there are better ways of toughening up your skin. Just spending a little bit more time walking around. Barefoot. Yeah. Just exposing your feet a little bit more to to rougher surfaces. Not damaging them and not making this the skin sore but just over time and making it less sensitive and toughening it up a little bit. Then I think you're, yeah, you won't list as badly.

You need good, high-quality athletic socks that are made of a wicking material and you need shoes that fit you. Well, it's also important that you keep calluses to a minimum because they will move at a different rate if you will to the rest of your skin and can separate it cause blisters that way.
