How did you like being home schooled? Would you recommend it for parents of young kids?

Yes, I was home-schooled my entire life. I actually never went to a regular public school. So I don't really know how to compare it, but I really enjoyed being homeschooled. I got to learn at my own pace. So some subjects. I was a little bit Advanced at some I was a little bit behind but I also had an older sister who's a year and two months ahead of me. So she was able to help me out a little bit as well. It was mainly, my mom teaching while my dad was working full time, but we would have homeschool groups as well. So we do different curriculums with different families. Area, we got a lot of interaction with other homeschooled kids. But then also I was swimming at the time and doing Junior Lifeguards and surfing and skateboarding. So had a lot of interaction with other kids. I ended up graduating when I was 16 from high school. And I also took some Junior College courses when I was like 14, so I got a chance to experience the the homeschooling style but a little bit different than most homeschoolers, I would say. And also I got to Shadow a couple friends. To Bubble the school, and by shadowing them. I decided like, I don't think I ever want to do this. So I truly enjoyed homeschooling. It's really up to the parents because it's a lot of sacrifice for them to be able to handle homeschooling especially to kids. For the most part, my sister, and I we kind of were able to teach ourselves once we got old enough to just go through the curriculum and then we were doing the tests. And my mom and my dad were like grading, all the tests, and then we would go in to places that we would take like the SATs and stuff like that. So yeah, very Experience. But doing marine biology at the beach, and nothing can beat that.
