Do you train during your family vacations?

I do train during my family vacations, but depending on when they are, which is most often during a time that I'm able to go like there's a lot of family vacations that we've missed because they've been in the middle of the racing season and I just haven't been able to go at all, but if I am able to go to a family vacation, I do train but it's definitely not at the same intensity or level of the rest of the rest of my weeks of training. And I would say that I kind of manipulate things to be that I can spend the most time with my family or friends that were on vacation with. So whether that's getting stuff done really early in the morning or I really enjoy like doing like point to point. So, if I have a like bike or or a run using it to get from one destination to another is a way that I make it more fun and kind of make the most of my time. I also really like doing it with other people. So, So if that means like going on rides or runs with family and friends, that's always a fun part to me so training yes on family vacation but not not at the same level or commitment as I would in a normal training week.

To be honest, I have never had a family vacation in the middle of the Season. Normally we take 45 days holiday after my big race, whether so normally that's kind of June July after a big Iron Man, I'm unfortunately injured at the moment, the very bad knee injury. So no family vacation at the moment as well. Normally again, at the end of the season. In October, my kids Matilda and Cuba have a two-week School holiday mid-october. So we normally try and go Way go away then. So, again off season is when the family vacations. Are when I retire, I'm definitely looking forward to a proper summer holiday in the middle of summer holidays.

So for me, I'm not actually allowed to call it training. I would say, I lightly exercise. Yeah, where's everyone? Lies in? I'll grab a coffee, go for my run and then that's me done for the day, just something simple. Sure. Yeah. All you need is your trainers and you're out the door done and then spend the day with the family for me. That's, I don't count that as training, but yeah, it's just feeling good and keeping the body in a good healthy place.
