What is an example of a niche that helped me stand out in professional rock climbing? I was climbing long multi-pitch routes that were challenging with a little bit of danger factor mixed in before a lot of people were doing it. So for me, timing was everything. I didn't realize I was in that time or that I was a niche climber at all. I was just doing what I like to do. I had found a partner that complimented me and I complimented him. And those are the things that we leveled ourselves up for and toured. And nowadays, there's so many great climbers, all the great climbers are doing long multi-pitch routes that may have a little bit of spice to them. And so the things that I did yesteryear are nothing compared to what's being done today. But it helped me stand out.
