I'm a great sleeper and can fall asleep anywhere. Tips for getting better sleep are to exercise until you're very tired. Transcript: "I'm a really good sleeper, and I have always been all my life. We grew up next to a road that was very busy and so that made me learn to sleep basically anywhere. I can fall asleep in the plane, I can fall asleep in the busiest room. I can basically sleep anywhere any time. And so I sleep really good at night, and I don't really know how many hours I get each night. It's always a bit different, but yeah, just as much as that I feel good the next day. And tips for getting a better night of sleep, ride your bike until you're very tired, and I promise you will sleep very good."
My favorite food for a ride is Roland's cookie bar, which has me on it. It's sweet and perfect for riding, and can be shared with friends. Transcript: "My favorite food during a ride is, of course, my very own cookie bar from Roland, which has me on it. It's so tasty, and honestly, I've given it to a lot of friends and everyone loved it. It's a little bit sweet and it's perfect for riding. There's a lot in it, so you can share it with your friends on your ride, and it's my favorite riding food."
I don't have a set morning routine, but I usually start my day by riding my bike. Transcript: "I would say my morning routine looks a bit different depending on where I am and with who I am there. Like if I'm in a training camp with the National team, we have breakfast all together, and then we go for a ride together. But when I'm at home, I might do my emails first or when-- Yeah, it depends. When I'm in off-season, I might just sleep in and have a coffee. I don't really have a set morning routine, but I would say what I do most days is to ride my bike. So I would say I have a day routine but not a morning routine."
One of the best things about mountain biking is that you can explore and discover new places near and far. You don't need any other sports or activities to enjoy your ride, just a bike and somewhere to ride. Transcript: "One of the best things about being a mountain biker is that you can ride your bike anywhere in the world. There is forests, there is bike paths, there is mountains, there is flat land, you can just go and discover, and you don't need a swimming pool you are not a swimmer. You don't need a 100-meter trek, you're not a 100-meter runner. You can literally just take your bike and ride anywhere and that's one of the things that I love the most about being a mountain biker, to just go out and discover, and I love to ride anywhere in the world. I always love to come back home and ride the trails that I know already, but just as much I love discovering new places and new countries."
I like riding my dirt bike better because it offers a different experience than riding a regular mountain bike or an E-bike. With a dirt bike, I can do jumps and other stunts that I couldn't do with a regular bike. Transcript: "I like it a lot better to ride my dirt bike because that's completely different. You ride on a track with jumps and that's so much fun. And with an E-bike, I mean, I can ride the same thing that I ride with any normal bike as well. So I can just pedal up the hill because it's-- I want it [? train. ?] So I'm happy to pedal up the hill and ride up. But with a dirt bike, I can really ride different things that I couldn't do with a mountain bike. So it's a lot of fun and I like it a lot."
I only felt relaxed and relieved when I crossed the finish line, because the course was challenging and anything could have happened. Transcript: "Thank you very much. I would say it was definitely only when I crossed the finish line because I was out front alone already for a big part of the race. So I just kept telling myself keep going and cross the finish line because anything can happen. The course was very demanding and very challenging. So Yeah, definitely only once I crossed the finish line was when I was like relaxed and knew I-- it was all good."
