Transcript: "Are there any ways to reduce the discomfort associated with Chiropractic adjustments? I honestly think that the biggest issue with discomfort with Chiropractic adjustments is the expectation of what's going to happen. I often describe a chiropractic adjustment to be like a sneeze. This is with my pediatric population because I think sneezes are super weird sensation and a really odd feeling but this soon as the sneeze is over, it's gone. You can't, you can't have that sneeze sensation once it's done. And that is how I describe the sensation of a chiropractic adjustment now not literally like a sneeze, but it's momentary, it's not pain, its sometimes it's surprising, sometimes it's a sensation, they're not used to, but as soon as it's over, it's gone. There are some really rare occasions where a chiropractic adjustments painful. Sometimes it's just because the area of the body that we're working on is already inflamed and painful. So I think it's explaining The patient and understanding that this is very momentary. This is very sudden, this may feel strange to you, but once it's over you'll feel a lot of relief can go a really long way to help reduce any perceived discomfort."

Are there ways to reduce discomfort associated with Chiropractic adjustments, small, percentage of the population will experience manipulation discomfort while during or after for me, if for patients, who have that experience, I find that getting them active beforehand. Say, for example, going out and doing a workout using your seat warmers doing some form of exercise before. Your appointment is helpful. The other part is learning how to breathe properly. So, getting out there and learning how to breathe from your diaphragm rather than your chest, which tightens you up, right before you manipulation, which means that doctor has to push through some very tight muscles, and it can strain the muscles a little bit, creating some soreness. So, learning how to relax. Take a deep breath in through your abdomen, letting it out. Instead of going where you're pressing really hard, hard learning how to sign go. Sometimes, I'll have patience. Help me with emotion. For example, if I'm trying to increase its tension, I'll have them help me extend at the same time, I do the adjustment, I hope that's helpful, cheers.
